Josh Porter is the founder and CEO of Big Dog Barbell.  He is an Adapted Physical Education Teacher in Roswell, GA, and a Special Olympics Powerlifting Coach.  Josh got the idea for BDB while trying to raise money to send one of his powerlifters AWPC World Championships in England.  Josh does not want to money to be an issue of access to physical fitness and sport for his athletes and their families.  BBD is way for him to provide equipment, uniforms, and some travel reimbursement at little to no cost to the families.  Josh is also a competitive powerlifter and holds seven World Records in the IPL/USPA.  Josh lives in Roswell with his wife Amanda, and son Declan.
